Janis has been instrumental in establishing and supporting Sudan Sunrise’s efforts for peace and reconciliation. Currently she works as Finance Coordinator for Hope Faith Ministries, an equipping day center for the homeless in Kansas City, MO. She has worked for both international and domestic non-profit organizations for 8 years. Janis worked in the securities compliance and investment planning industry for over 20 years in Kansas City, Chicago, Indianapolis, and is a past president of the Kansas City Securities Association. She served as Operations Manager for Sudan Sunrise from 2006 through 2011. Janis is a board member of JumpStart South Sudan, enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and intercessory prayer.
