Sydni Butler is the Director of Creative Advancement for Sudan Sunrise and is a performing artist. Butler is an accomplished choreographer, performing artist, and entrepreneur. Being a part of and creating works of art that are profound and healing are what fuels her. A graduate of George Mason University with a B.A in Expressive Arts and Well-Being, Butler’s drive has led her to opportunities where her choreographic pieces have been invited to be performed on more multiple stages throughout the Dc,Maryland.,Virginia area. And when younger, launched a boutique intended for a boost of confidence for young females who were insecure with their bodies. Butler is excited to utilize her creative background in spaces that further and provide awareness of healing, community building, and philanthropic outlook as she believes that Art is one of the ways to bring people together and garner needed conversations amongst one another.
