DC Walk to End Genocide

Join the DC Walk to End Genocide on April 26

The Darfur Interfaith Network, in partnership with Jewish World Watch, is hosting the very first DC Walk to End Genocide to raise awareness of genocides worldwide and support victims with funds raised. Sudan Sunrise has been actively helping to organize the even and garner support! The 2-mile walk begins at 2pm, and goes from behind the Holocaust Museum to the Martin Luther King Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and then returns to the starting point. The event is not just a walk- there will also be numerous activities for all ages and special speakers. There are plenty of opportunities to be involved, including: Signing up as a walker, donating to a walker,  and sponsoring the event (much needed).  You can even donate to the event through Sudan Sunrise or sign up as a walker under our Sudan Sunrise team.
